More than 80% of Ontarians oppose the scheme to privatize Hydro One. So do more than 185 city and municipal councils. And more than 30 chambers of commerce. It’s time to drive this fact home to our provincial leaders. But we have to act now. YOU have to act now.
Here’s what you need to do:
- Book a meeting with your MPP (Member of Provincial Parliament) at their office in your community.
- Join or help form a local chapter of Hydro One Not For Sale in your community.
- Print out and fill this petition with signatures. Then mail it in to us at the address on the bottom of the petition:

Not sure who is your MPP? No problem. It’s easy to find out.
- First you have to know in which riding you live. If you’re not sure, this website will tell you. http://fyed.elections.on.ca/fyed/en/form_page_en.jsp
- Once your know your riding, you can find your MPP on this site. http://www.ontla.on.ca/web/members/members_current.do?locale=en&ord=Riding&dir=ASC&list_type=all_mpps
- Once you’ve found your MPP, click on her or his name and you’ll get all the contact info you need to book your Constituency Week meeting.
- Send us an email at to let us know your meeting has been scheduled.
HOW TO JOIN OR FORM A LOCAL CHAPTER:
Meeting face-to-face with your MPP is important, but there are other ways to demand the government stop this scheme before it’s too late. That’s where your local chapter comes in.
